Why the Internet is a Force for Good

For:

• I feel it is a good source of entertainment for people, where everyone can get a laugh out of, with Social Media sites such as YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.


• It is a great place for access to Education, from 1st level all the way to 3rd level Education. Websites where you can purchase textbooks or even videos to help learn a certain subject like History with YouTube channnels such as "AlternateHistory".


• Communicating with friends or Pen-Pals who live very far away. Using messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Facetime/iMessages, Skype or even Discord helps.


• Submitting homework for school through the internet with websites such as Schoology which help the students and teachers converse faster.


• Purchasing goods through the internet with shopping websites such as Amazon and eBay. Or just about any other branded shopping site (Nike, Adidas etc.).


• Coding is a good skill and learning it through the internet makes things lot easier e.g websites like W3Schools, Glitch or GitHub.


• Playing games through the internet for free with flash game sites like CoolMathGames, Nitrome or Miniclip.
